For Pantene’s Fixins for Country Fried Hair campaign, I designed the environmental experience for the Pantene Diner on Wheels, transforming an Airstream into a bold, country-inspired beauty space. Through custom finishes, materials, and prop styling, I led the spatial design that brought Pantene’s repair story from screen to street as it traveled to Tennessee, Chicago, and Texas.

The TV spot that inspired it all

Starring Kelsea Ballerini, this commercial introduced Pantene’s Fixins for Country Fried Hair world. Our traveling diner brought that same playful, country-infused whimsy off the screen and into real life.

    A 40’ x 40’ traveling experience designed to drive discovery of Pantene’s Regenerative Oil Blend through sampling and social moments.

    A bold, retro-inspired sign stopped foot traffic and launched the Pantene story.

  • hostess check in

    A diner-style welcome desk where guests were greeted, queued, and introduced to the Pantene experience. Mobile sign-ups and QR entry points made it easy to join the journey, whether stopping in for the full experience or just a quick, high-impact moment.

  • repair register

    A playful, vending machine–style moment where guests turned a dial to reveal their Pantene takeaway, from full-size products to trial sizes. Designed to feel like a game of chance, it kept energy high while delivering a memorable, reward-driven brand interaction.

  • booth photo-op

    An immersive, in-world photo booth that placed guests inside the Pantene story, capturing vintage-style, custom-branded portraits made for sharing. Each moment doubled as a social spark and a seamless way to collect guest data across every tour stop.

  • fixins counter

    A styling and selfie station where guests chose a branded bandana and stepped into Pantene-branded mirrors for high-impact photo moments. Fans, prompts, and playful props turned product trial into a share-worthy, shampoo-commercial-style experience.

  • dining room

    An open-air styling zone with printed tutorials that showed guests how to turn their bandanas and ribbons into easy, elevated hairstyles. Designed for self-guided play, it blended beauty education with shareable moments.
