I’m Claudia Alejandra Tinta — but everyone calls me CAT.

I’m a designer of spaces and experiences.

I’ve worked with brands like Brooks Running, Coca-Cola, Goldman Sachs, Figma, Google, Shopify, and The Wall Street Journal.

I love collaborating with diverse clients and learning about different industries, and I use my background in fabrication and a creative approach to materials to create environments and installations that people can move through, enjoy, and remember.

The story behind HAUSCAT

HOW I GOT HERE

I grew up in New York City and moved to Buffalo to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University at Buffalo, which I completed in 2019.

From there, my career has followed a multidisciplinary path rooted in design, fabrication, and storytelling. I began as a Fabrication Lab Manager at SUNY Erie, where I developed hands-on expertise with tools, materials, and prototyping processes. I then transitioned into real estate development at Atelier NY, gaining firsthand insight into how large-scale projects are executed — from budgets and timelines to construction and client coordination.

In 2021, I earned a Master’s in Exhibition & Experience Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I deepened my understanding of designing environments that inform, engage, and inspire.

Today, I bring all of these experiences together as a spatial and experiential designer. I’m skilled in concept development, materials research, moodboarding, and client presentations, collaborating across disciplines to create spaces that resonate meaningfully with their audiences.

I currently call the beautiful city of Buffalo, New York home — GO BILLS!

Naturally, I am always on the move and have completed projects across the United States, including Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Atlanta, and beyond.
